The fishing grounds are located on central Vancouver Island British Columbia. Clients have their choice of fishing out of Nanaimo, French Creek or off the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
Nanaimo / French Creek offers some of Vancouver Island's top fishing, as salmon make their way down the Georgia Straight to the rivers southern river systems, and to the famous Fraser River. Nanaimo offers very protected fishing conditions, being on the inside passage, water is very tolerable, even for the most sea sick prone.
If choosing to go to Vancouver Island's West Coast, we will be fishing just south of Ucluelet, known as Barkley Sound and the surrounding area. The West Coast offers a wide variety bottom fish as well as top notch salmon fishing.
Barkley sound coughs up some trophy sized salmon that will be sure to put smiles on your face as you battle with strong large Chinook salmon, and acrobatic delicious Coho.
Your shot at catching a tyee (30+ pound Chinook salmon) is very good when fishing famous Barkley Sound. Halibut, Ling-cod, and Yellow-eyed rock fish are bountiful in the fertile seas of the West Coast, being sure to fill your freezer with ocean fresh caught wild bottom fish.
